Currently hiring shifts: 3p - 8p (contingent), 1p - 9p (part-time)
Our Housekeeping Aides ensure the facility and resident rooms are clean and comfortable, providing a refreshing environment for residents and visitors. Housekeeping Aides are part of the Environmental Services team, working closely with laundry staff as well as the clinical team members to ensure our residents personal needs are met.
Housekeeping Aide Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform deep cleaning and daily cleaning of assigned resident rooms and common areas of facilityEnsure newly available rooms are promptly cleaned, sanitized, and prepared for new admissionsPlace welcome bags in rooms prepared for new admissionsNotify supervisor or appropriate team member of repair needsAssist with resident packing of belongings for dischargeConduct cleaning and routine checks of housekeeping equipmentDeliver linens for use on each shiftAttend required staff in-serviceOther duties as assigned to support the whole teamHousekeeping Aide Requirements:
Ability to think and work independently and with direction aCommunicate professionally with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.High School graduate or equivalent.Experience:
Prior experience in long term care is preferred.
