Overview

The Executive Director, Supply Chain Management is responsible for overseeing the operations and financial management of the Supply Chain Management Department. Includes assisting and supporting the Supply Chain management team and end-users with business and clinical operations. The Executive Director, Supply Chain Management, will be responsible for helping build staff capabilities consistent with both short- and long-term goals, and the development and execution of Supply Chain transformation strategy (operational efficacy, holistic approach to expense management, total cost of care, clinical Supply Chain integration, business intelligence, service improvement). Will be responsible for evaluating, organizing, and directing the following areas: Strategic Sourcing, Materials Processing and Distribution Center (MPD), Print/Mail Services, and System Courier Services. Direct and manage the implementation, maintenance, support, and continuous improvement of all supply chain operational programs that supports patient care and fiscal responsibility. Responsible for developing and implementing objectives, strategies, and tactics for Supply Chain Management departments in support of health system goals and objectives and in compliance with Board and management directives; federal, state, and local laws and regulations; and accreditation requirements.Department Description

Licensure

Certified Materials & Resource Professional or Certified Professional in Supply Management or Certified in Production and Inventory Management Preferred

Education

Master's Degree Required - In Healthcare or Business Administration or Finance or Related Field Preferred

Experience

7 Years Leadership in Healthcare - Multi-Hospital System Required - In Supply Chain Management Preferred - And 3 Years Leadership - Director or Above Required
