American Energy Storage Innovations, Inc. (AESI) has a full-time opening for a Program Manager - Operations in Hudson, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:
As Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing customer project activities and deliverables for large-scale American Energy Storage Innovations products delivered to customer sites. This activity includes managing project scope, schedule and budget, internal and external stakeholder management, change and risk management, project reporting and contracts management.
Program Managers are primary contacts on customer projects working with internal and external engineering teams to ensure installations meet all technical specifications and achieve successful site acceptance. The ideal candidate will lead all elements of project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Lead customer ESS projects from PO through commissioning and closeoutCollaborate with multi-discipline project teams to complete project deliverables in accordance with the customer contract.Prepare RFPs and RFQs for third party subcontractor work and supply, primarily electrical and mechanical trades, inspection, and site commissioning activities.Provide regular project status reports to customers as well as internal management.Project management and reporting of project cost, scope, schedule, and qualityDocument and track compliance to customer requirements along with developing technical solutions to address gaps.Develop, communicate, and lead the execution of project management plans, scope, schedules, and budgets.Develop and maintain project timeline and contingency plans as required.Drive towards rapid identification and resolution of any and all project related performance, cost, schedule, manufacturing, supply base and related issues.Schedule and conduct team meetings and design reviews; manage work plans and communicate tasks and expectations to project team members; capture and drive closure of actions and open issues.Participate in customer RFP responses, contract exhibit creation, and contract negotiation.Facilitate and host customer witnessed commissioning tests.Adhere to federal and state regulations.Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.Predictable and reliable attendance.Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical and/or mechanical engineering or other relevant engineering disciplines, or equivalent degree.Minimum of (5) years managing industrial capital equipment projects.Demonstrated competency in managing complex projects.PMP Certification preferred.Project experience in large scale grid tie inverters/motor drives and/or utility substation equipment installation is highly desired.Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing, dynamic environment and thrive within a matrix organization.Customer facing role requires excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability for domestic and international travel up to 20% travel each year.Key Competencies:
