Description

Sightline is Verily's public health offering that helps researchers, communities and governments better inform and implement local and national responses by enabling detection and mitigation of disease at a population level. Sightline expands views of public health through leading technologies that more quickly detect and effectively mitigate diseases, setting the stage for scalable advancements for controlling infectious disease around the world.

As leaders in the laboratory science behind wastewater-based epidemiology, Verily Sightline Wastewater offers logistics and surveillance to test for pathogens present in wastewater, allowing for timely monitoring and detection to inform faster and more precise public health actions. Verily supports hundreds of sites across the United States, each sending samples to our lab for analysis and an automated, efficient digital return of pathogen concentration.

Verily is looking for a Product Manager to build data products for Sightline customers. You will be responsible for identifying, scoping and delivering to the market high-quality data products - including data visualizations, dashboards, APIs and data export and analysis tools. You will have the opportunity to partner and engage with a highly experienced group of cross-functional team members to bring new products to market while helping to continually evolve the existing portfolio.

ResponsibilitiesInterface with public health partners and B2B customers to understand data needs and requirements to drive the product roadmap.Work closely with designers, engineers, and data scientists to continuously launch data products that deliver on Sightline's business objectives and customers' needs.Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success and impact of data products, using data-driven insights for continuous improvement.Define pricing models that align with market dynamics and value creation.Scale the business internationally.Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of Product Management experience in building and launching data products.Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving startup environment. Proactive in identifying team needs and willing to pitch in where needed.Experience with data pipelines, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and event analytics.Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders on product delivery (Product Management, Product Design, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, and Data Science).Superior presentation and both oral and written communication skills.Strong problem-solver with analytical skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $152,000 - $217,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
