• Lead and manage the Lease R&M team, overseeing all high-priority escalations.
• Manage disaster-related incidents and landlord insurance claims for affected centers.
• Research lease agreements for key clauses pertaining to store locations
• Prepares default letters to Landlords
• Communicate proficiently with landlords to address repair matters promptly and ensure their timely
resolution
• Facilitate communication and coordination between the landlord and Caliber regarding all repair related
issues, including city violations and notices
• Collaborate with the Legal team to resolve unresolved issues through to completion
• Organize and coordinate inspections and site visits as needed by landlord specifications
• Effectively communicate with landlords to secure approvals for property enhancements
• Communicate with landlord regarding repairs covered by landlord insurance and ensure the completion
of necessary repairs
• Evaluate and authorize reimbursements request from landlords pertaining to repairs and maintenance
• Collaborate with various departments, providing pertinent information on landlord responsibilities for
repairs and maintenance
• Lead building improvement projects that require verification of landlord responsibilities, including
notices and approvals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• 1-2 years of higher education in Property Management or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Property Management or related field
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to process work quickly,
accurately and with changing priorities
• Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and effectively present information
• Ability to interpret commercial lease language
• High proficiency in MS Office products
• Preference for experience with a Lease Administration software application such as CoStar
