BACKGROUND:
Banyan Treatment Centers is a growing, private equity-backed entity that provides nationwide addiction and mental health treatment programs. As an Accounting Manager for our network of multiple treatment centers, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization. You will oversee all aspects of the full-cycle close, while also providing strategic guidance to support the achievement of our business objectives.
This is an on-site role at our corporate office in Pompano BeachPay Scale is $115-130k.POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in managing monthly close.Manage AP close process.Oversee expense reimbursement and purchasing card platform.Ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing processes and controls.Manage ASC 842 software to ensure proper accounting treatment.Review contracts to assess ASC 842 and other accounting implications and opportunities for operational improvement.Preparation and review of financial statements, including prior period comparison and performance to budgets or forecasts.Ensure the suitability and effectiveness of internal controls.Work collaboratively with others (internally and externally) to achieve common objectives.Actively engages with all parties to ensure quality of data, communications, reports, and process improvement initiatives.Assist in annual external audits.Seeks out learning experiences and incorporates new knowledge into practice.Tasked with identifying process improvements and implementing solutions.Maintains flexibility and adaptability to expected and unexpected changes in the work environment.Assumes additional responsibilities as required.REQUIREMENTS:
CPAPublic accounting experience (preferred)Minimum of 6 years of working experience in accounting related rolesMinimum of 2 years of full-cycle close experienceStrong Excel skillsProficiency in accounting systems required, preferably Sage IntacctExperience with ASC 842Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a team environment.Ability to consistently meet reporting deadlines.EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting ( Required )Master’s degree in accounting (Preferred)CPA ( Required )Why Join Us?
