Airswift is seeking a Dispatcher to work on a 12-month assignment (subject to extension) in Spring, TX (Houston area).

Job Summary

The Dispatcher will assist in transportation planning, monitor driver activities, and verify data accuracy within the scope of control. The role involves working any assigned shift and requires excellent time management and communication skills. Experience in transportation management and the oilfield sector is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Communication & Coordination :Communicate clearly with vendors, company field and office operations teams, and ADAPTS teams.Manage job orders from active field personnel via telephone, email, or work order software for tasks including hauling/disposal of industrial waste, production water, and other service work.Maintain contact with all operational field and management personnel, providing real-time updates as needed and end-of-day status reports.Data Management :Use transportation management systems (Gemini, Open Invoice/Open Ticket, Airtable, Excel) to assign, track, and record workflows.Ensure daily logs of work in progress are accurate and current.Vendor Management :Identify vendor expectations and requirements, aligning goals in accordance with contractual obligations.Problem-Solving :Address issues and discrepancies promptly to ensure maximum production and workflow efficiency.Other Duties :Perform any other duties as assigned.QualificationsSkills :Strong organizational skills, real-time monitoring capabilities, effective communication, and time management.Experience :Transportation management and oilfield experience preferred.
