Job Title: Project Manager - Federal Construction
Company Overview:Our client is a leader in providing construction services to government agencies such as USACE, NAVFAC, USAF, GSA, and various state and city agencies. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing project management teams and ensuring the successful completion of assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:Manage the design and construction work of all technical disciplines on assigned projectsEnsure compliance with contractual requirements, building codes, and permitting processesReview subcontractor, vendor, and teaming partner bids for thorough information and completenessDevelop, update, and maintain project schedules in close coordination with the project teamManage project staff, subcontractors, and others to ensure on-time completion and compliance with contractual requirementsRequired Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a related field7-10 years of experience delivering successful projects to government agencies such as USACE, NAVFAC, USAF, GSA, State of Illinois (CDB, UIC, UIUC), City of Chicago (CHA, PBC, DGS, CDA)Experience with civil, force protection, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and other technical disciplinesStrong project accounting and management skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilities to maintain close working relationships with clients and internal teamsSome of the Benefits Include:10 days PTO plus 11 additional Holidays your first year401K with 100% Company match up to 3%Company group health plan availableCompany-sponsored outings and educational opportunities
