Hours: full-time (37.5 hours per week), requires occasional weekends and on-call and includes $2,000 annual stipend.

Location: Lynchburg, VA 24501

The PACT Team Coordinator in conjunction with the PACT Program Manager leads a multidisciplinary team of mental health counselors in serving those with severe mental illness. The PACT Team Coordinator duties include providing leadership, assessing, developing, coordinating, and providing treatment and rehabilitation and support services. Directs the day-to-day clinical operations of the PACT team including managing a team of clinicians, program budgeting, reviewing documentation, and providing licensed clinical supervision to appropriate staff.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

60-hour master's degree from an accredited college/university in an applicable human services field and preferred licensure in the State of Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.Two years of experience working with adults with serious mental illness in a community mental health environment. Prefer one year or more of supervisory experience.

RELATED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of and adherence to existing professional ethical standards; Ability to form and maintain effective counseling relationships with clients, to monitor client movement in the therapy process, and terminate the therapeutic relationship in appropriate ways; Ability to supervise employees, providing direct training when needed; Ability to effectively communicate orally, both in person, and by telephone; Ability to effectively communicate in writing and to prepare written documents; Knowledge of and adherence to agency policies and procedures; Ability to maintain a consistent and dependable work schedule; Ability to travel to meetings, other campuses, and counseling sites; Knowledge of and adherence to licensure regulations related to services provided; Ability to respond to emergency situations in a timely and appropriate manner; Ability to use a personal computer and other office equipment; Knowledge and ability to provide clinical supervision to QMHP-Es, Interns, and/ or LMHP-Es; Willing and available to work modified schedules (weekends, holiday, etc.) as required; Ability to drive and must possess a valid driver's license. May be called upon to travel to any worksite; transport clients, provide services to client at other locations. Regular attendance at trainings and meetings may require travel to a variety of sites; Ability to participate in and successfully pass behavioral intervention training; includes both verbal de-escalation skills and physical skills techniques to be utilized with consumers as needed.
