OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANYFox TV Stations
FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities: Schedule Production staff, including Master Control, Control Room, Studio, Stagehands and Production related staffing; process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for various Production groups; facilitate the vacation approval process for the Production Staff and coordinate the replacement of workers due to absences, including illness and vacation fill-ins; day-to-day interface and support of various departments utilizing Technical staff; maintain reports for overtime, vacation, illness, purchasing, and update operating procedures manuals; in addition to the above, this position may be assigned other production, engineering, news or facilities related activities at management's discretion.
Requirements: Candidate must have excellent organizational skills as well as being a self-starter with a great eye for detail and the ability to meet deadlines; minimum of 2 years prior Broadcast or Cable technical experience required; proficient in Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, and Power Point; knowledge of Television Automation and Traffic systems a plus; hours, days off, and work location are subject to change based on operational needs of the station; ability to work in a team environment and thrive under a deadline driven system is essential; good interpersonal skills with a strong emphasis on communication also essential; additionally the candidate must be able to work efficiently in the stressful, fast paced world of live breaking News.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $60,000.00-70,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
