Sales Account Executive - Industrial/Commercial

An industry leader for 75 years, we are one of the leading boiler room equipment providers in the Southwest, specializing in the design and equipment selection of boilers, burners, tanks, control systems and pump systems. We are looking for a qualified boiler Sales Account Executive with past industrial and/or commercial sales to join our team! Summary:
This position will drive the performance and growth of the sales organization in pursuit of being the Preferred Boiler Room Solutions Provider. You will work alongside the leadership team to accomplish business goals while setting and maintaining a culture of Customers, Integrity, Team Work and Excellence (C.I.T.E.)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each of the primary duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
1. Drive revenue by developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth and improve overall company revenue.
2. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring repeat business and high levels of customer loyalty.
3. Identify and develop new business opportunities.
4. Proactively assesses, clarifies and validates customer needs and status on an ongoing basis.
5. Collects information required to generate quotations.
6. Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
7. Achieve stated sales goals in support of business growth goals.
8. Track and monitor key sales KPI's to identify areas of success and improvement.
9. Participate in weekly sales meetings.
10. Act as steward of the company culture, promoting quality and an exceptional customer experience.
11. Promptly handle all direct client communications via phone, text, and email, ensuring clear responses.
12. Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
13. Coordinates the involvement of company personnel to orchestrate resolution of customer technical questions, concerns and escalations.
14. Follows up on leads generated from trade shows, field activity, referrals, internet research and cold calls.
15. Partners with customer to follow up, negotiate price and close orders.
16. Other duties, as assigned.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Visit customers throughout the day, travel to job sites and attend meetings both inside and outside of the office.
2. Spend time in the office either on the computer, using the phone or handling office material.
3. Position responsibilities require a high level of concentration.
4. Meets or exceeds annual sales order intake forecast.
5. Documents customer contact activity in company CRM software.
6. Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned timeframe.
7. Provides weekly status report of sales activity.
Qualifications / Education / Skills and Experience:
1. Requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience selling capital equipment in a business-to-business environment.
2. Must be computer literate with MS Office software and Monday.com.
3. Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication across organizations at all levels of the business.
5. Relationship Focused: Able to build trust and influence through relationship building.
6. Customer Service Minded: Always respecting our customers and their needs.
7. Superb time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
8. Clean driving record.
