The Cyber Security Engineer will be a part of the Info Security and Compliance team that protects what matters most to our associates and customers by securing our sensitive data and critical assets from current and emerging threats. Info Security at Paradies Lagardère consists of Architecture, Governance, Identity & Access Management, Internal Threat Operations, Issue and Compliance Management, Risk Assessment/Advisory, Security Consulting, Security Operations, Service Optimization and Strategic Planning.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works within the InfoSec & Compliance team to ensure proper technical and procedural controls are in place for solutions moving into our computing environment including the cloud.Work across IT department to ensure teams understand Information Security requirements.Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organizations data, systems, and networks.Monitoring and responding to all system and/or network security alerts and issues.Ensuring that the organizations data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.Maintain security incident response plans for current and future security threats.Participating in the change management process.Provide and execute mitigation strategies for security threats and vulnerabilities identified by security tools within our environment including the cloud.Primary technical contact for all security tooling, findings, mitigation, and documentation.Identify opportunities to improve our security processes, policies and technologies.Other duties as assigned.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:
Required: Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science/Information or similar experience.Required: Minimum of 3 years of information security experience with a strong background in IT infrastructure, Incident Response, and Vulnerability Management.Exposure to ISO 27001/2, and NIST Cyber Security Framework as well as with CIS Controls and Baselines.Technical knowledge and hands on experience with Azure Security services and technologiesExperience with EDR, Firewalls and Vulnerability Management tools.Technical knowledge and hands on experience with Azure Security services and technologies.Retail, Dining or Hospitality Industry knowledge a plus.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Effectively handle difficult and stressful situations with poise, tact, and patience, while demonstrating a sense of urgencyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, as well as quality-mindedDemonstrated ability to operate and innovate in a small team with a fast-paced environment, balancing both strategic and tactical needs.Self-directed, able to work independently, as well as work in a team-orientated and fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Occasional travel may be necessary.Strong relationship-building, communication and project management to demonstrate project status, key actions, risks, and opportunitiesProficiency using MS Project, Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint
