Our client, a highly respected and innovative law firm, is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join their team. The firm is known for its forward-thinking approach and dedication to providing exceptional legal services. They are looking for a talented attorney who is passionate about labor and employment law and is ready to take on challenging and impactful cases.

Position Overview:

As a Labor & Employment Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in a variety of labor and employment matters, including but not limited to, workplace discrimination, wage and hour disputes, employee benefits, and compliance with labor laws. This role requires a deep understanding of federal and state employment regulations and the ability to provide strategic advice to clients on complex employment issues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in labor and employment disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.- Provide counsel on a broad range of labor and employment issues, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour compliance, employee benefits, and labor relations.- Draft and review employment contracts, severance agreements, non-compete agreements, and other employment-related documents.- Conduct legal research and stay current with labor and employment laws and regulations.- Advise clients on best practices for maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.- Handle administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Department of Labor (DOL), and other regulatory agencies.- Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing timely and effective communication and legal advice.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the Bar of the relevant state(s).Minimum of 5 years of experience in labor and employment law.Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.Excellent litigation and negotiation skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.Commitment to providing high-quality legal services and achieving positive outcomes for clients.Why Join Our Client?
