Job Summary
The Department of Pediatrics Division of Pediatrics Health Services Research is seeking a Project Management Specialist.
Department-Specific ResponsibilitiesSupports the FORTRESS project, from R33 milestones to completion.Develops a relationship with FORTRESS and Health and Justice Lab stakeholders; may involve attending meetings within Indiana counties, attending OFR meetings, and engaging with OFR organizers.Provides weekly, or more frequently if requested, reporting on project details and management of surveys, data, interviews, transcription tasks.Coordinates and communicates between various areas; including other projects that may collaborate with the FORTRESS study. This may be at the Department, Division, or program level.General Responsibilities
Manages a small project, from start to finish, or one phase of a large project, ensuring on time completion within budget.Develops project plan(s) and efficiently analyzes, tracks, forecasts, and reports on project metrics and shortfalls.Reports on progress and provides regular updates to upper management.Coordinates and communicates between various areas; conducts project meetings and prepares regular reports.Collaborates with other departments to ensure that project objectives are achieved within established time frames.May provide guidance and support to non-exempt staff.Qualifications
Combinations of related education and experience may be considered. Education beyond the minimum required may be substituted for work experience. Work experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted for education.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
Additional Information
$50,000 - $60,000 per year based on a combination of experience, skill level, education, and training.
Work Location
Indianapolis, Indiana
This position is eligible to work a hybrid schedule (mix between remote and in-person work), subject to change in the future based on university policy and the department's business needs.
