Job Description
BryceTech is seeking a T2X Program Coordinator to support NASA's Technology Transfer Program. NASA's Technology Transfer (T2) program is tasked with ensuring that commercially valuable innovations developed at the agency are identified, protected, and licensed to U.S. companies. This position will support NASA's Technology Transfer Expansion (T2X) program which accelerates the commercialization of NASA-developed technology and new venture creation through strategic partnerships, entrepreneurship activities, and engagement with academia. T2X builds on the mission of NASA Technology Transfer-to ensure that innovations developed for exploration and discovery are broadly available to the public. With emphasis on entrepreneurial innovation and pipeline creation, T2X invests in the economy of the future.
A successful T2X Program Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to expand NASA's Tech Transfer program, in alignment with agency goals and priorities. They will cultivate relationships with industry partners, academic institutions, startups, and other organizations to identify collaboration opportunities and promote technology transfer initiatives. They will work closely with NASA researchers, engineers, and project teams to identify innovative technologies with commercial potential and assess their readiness for transfer; and monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of technology transfer activities, tracking metrics such as licensing revenue, partnerships formed, and technology adoption rates.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides support to technical professionals with regard to a variety of administrative, systems, and business operations problems, and contributes to related system development projects.Determines and defines system specifications, process improvements, quality assurance, interaction with customers and technical staff, problem resolution, and project-lead activities.Plans and performs technical analysis of company functions, processes, and activities to improve business applications.Support regional entrepreneurial engagement through formal and informal collaboration with incubators, accelerators, universities, and state/local governments in support of local entrepreneurial ecosystems.Support NASA Technology Transfer University (T2U) engagements across the nation.Support NASA sponsored inter-agency initiatives related to economic development activities.Support NASA employee training through the NASA Entrepreneurial Workforce (NEW) initiative commercialization boot campsQualifications
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of experience, with a Master's degree in a business function preferable.Prior experience as an analyst with preference to support for technology assessment, scouting, and transition.Familiarity with federal technology transfer programs (preferred)Strong attention to detail, proven ability to deliver on time, and ability to track multiple simultaneous projects with evolving requirements.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skillsCommitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibilityProficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of tools (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)Bachelor's degree or higher10+ years relevant work experienceU.S. Citizen
