Testek Solutions is currently seeking a Jr. Machine Builder/Pipefitter.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assist lead machine builder pipefitter in assembly of hydraulic & mechanical test equipmentForm and fasten piping, fixtures, and attachments required to service machine with air, water, and oilMay install wiring and electrical components to specificationsMust be able to perform all duties in a safe and professional mannerFits and assembles components according to assembly schematics, manuals, and knowledge of machine construction to construct, rebuild, and repair machines using hand tools and power toolsAnalyzes assembly schematics and specifications manual and plans machine building operationsVerifies conformance of parts to stock list and drawingsLays out hole locations and drills and taps holes on parts for assemblyAligns components for assembly, manually or with hoist, bolts, screws, dowels, welds, or rivets parts using hand tools, rivet gun, and welding equipmentTake part in the teardown and packaging of test equipment prior to shipmentRequirements include:

High school diploma or equivalent education and experience to demonstrate ability to perform the job.Basic Shop MathMust have a strong mechanical backgroundMust be a team playerMust be flexible and have the ability to work with othersMust have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced engineering/manufacturing environmentPreferred:

Minimum of 4 years of hands-on pipe fitting experience.Hydraulics knowledgePneumatics knowledgeExperience with motors and gear boxes preferredSteel FabricationPipe BendingExperience building machinesAbility to read and understand drawings and schematics
