Job Summary
Performs a variety of duties to facilitate the receipt, movement, storage and shipment of parts and materials within the warehouse. Uses forklift/power truck, single purpose pushcart or hand truck to accomplish assigned tasks.

Physical Demands
Medium to Heavy Level Labor as defined by the Dictionary of Occupational Titles. Exerting force of 20 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Light to Medium work. Position requires ability to constantly reach and handle objects, and frequently utilizes hands for fine finger manipulation. Occasionally climb, stoop, crouch, crawl, kneel and hear.
Essential Job Functions
Unloads received freight containers using forklift/power truck.
Opens received cargo containers, inspects for part number, quantity and for visual defects.
Receives and/or Sorts materials and scans bar code utilizing handheld scanner.
Must be able to constantly reach and handle objects, and frequently utilizes hands for fine finger manipulation.
Uses upper and lower extremities repetitively to move levers and press pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
Positions forks, under loaded pallets, and transports load to designated area.
Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
Scans bar codes of individual items for correct storage location.
Bending, twisting, reaching, fingering and handling necessary to move items to designated area.
Exerts force of 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, or 20 to 25 pounds of force frequently, or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Stores, stocks and picks parts from assigned stock using forklift/power truck, single purpose pushcart or hand truck.

Bending, twisting, reaching and fingering and handling necessary to pick, pack, sort and stock items. Constant standing, lifting, pushing/pulling and walking required.
Items may weigh up to 50 lbs.
Sorts parts by destination and packs parts in the assigned box or container to prepare for shipping. Identifies correct part on computer and picks parts from assigned stock using forklift or power truck. Bending, twisting, reaching and fingering and handling necessary to pick items from shelves, wrap items in bubble wrap or other packing material and placing items into cartons for shipment.
May pull pallet off of shelf using 15 lbs. of force, pallet may weigh up to 45 lbs.
Constant standing and walking necessary.
Places bar code onto item after packaging and uses handheld scanner to scan item.
Operates standard manual and automatic equipment, such as electronic scales, foam machine, paper cutter, shrink-wrapper and automatic bagger.
May constantly reach and handle objects and frequently utilizes hands for fine finger manipulation.
Ships out packaged cargo to assigned destination.
Uses upper and lower extremities repetitively to move levers and press pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
Experience: Experience in warehouse operations desired.
2 - 4 years of experience in warehouse operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One (1) year of previous experience as a forklift operator.
Other: Must be able to read and write English fluently.
Must be able to follow established practices and procedures in a disciplined manner.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and to remain on feet for the majority of work hours.
