Job Summary:

The Manager of Clinical Operations provides support to respective department by facilitating the day-to-day operational initiatives that drive clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and financial strength. This role works with teams to optimize resource allocation, enhance patient services and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations. The Manager of Clinical Operations supports the assigned Service Line/Program to develop effective strategies and identify, implement, and execute tactics to ensure efficient operations.Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:Identifies process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve patient experience. Identifies and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess clinic performance and identify areas for improvement.Collaborates with clinicians to understand needs and improve efficiency.Supports clinical and operational performance and ongoing improvement through modeling, analytics, and the application of Lean Six Sigma tools.Develops quantitative metrics to assess the financial and operational effects of decisions and actions.Develops thorough operational and financial models, including detailed impact assessments related to changes in market strategies, alternative pricing structures, the expansion of MD and support staffing, and the development of service lines.Assists in monitoring the operating, capital, and payroll budgets, suggesting corrective actions as needed to ensure the department has sufficient funds to achieve its program goals and objectives.Assists in monitoring financial performance to ensure the cost-effective use of resources while upholding high care standards.Provides accurate, up-to-date financial information to departmental leadership to aid in effective financial management.Identifies and proposes special projects, business plans, and models that may include waiver projects, research, and publications to enhance the accessibility and quality of the service line.Facilitates partnerships and strategic alliances to drive clinical expansion and enhance community engagement. Maintains awareness of services and providers in the community.Collaborates with leaders responsible for assigned services across the care continuum to achieve organizational goals.Stays informed about events or proposed changes that could impact regulatory matters, policies, or procedures, and may assist in updating them as necessary. Ensures that leadership is kept informed of any changes.Develops direct reports by defining roles/responsibilities and expectations, assigning and communicating performance and promoting professional growth and accountability. Assists teams in communicating and aligning work priorities with the organizational vision, mission, values, and service standards. Recommends educational initiatives to further improve staff performance.Assists with overseeing daily operations to ensure seamless coordination and service delivery.Responsible for overseeing work being done by direct report(s) and evaluates work being completed.Coordinates operational plans to promote growth and stability in the workplace, with an emphasis on developing programs.Ensures that clinic operations adhere to regulatory standards and organizational policies, minimizing risk and ensuring patient safety.Job description is not an all-inclusive list of duties and may be subject to change with or without notice. Master's degree from a recognized college or university in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, assigned service line or related field.2 plus years of applicable experience in budget, financial analysis, business operations management, or project management to include experience with reporting, building reports, and professional presentations.

ORBachelor's degree from a recognized college or university in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, assigned service line or related field.5 plus years of applicable experience in budget, financial analysis, business operations management, or project management to include experience with reporting, building reports, and professional presentations.Preferred Qualifications:

Training in LEAN philosophy with Green Belt certification or eligibility.Experience working with physician and Advance Practice Provider reporting.
