Dynamic physician-owned and -led orthopedic practice seeks a fellowship-trained, board-certified, or board-eligible Hand & Wrist Orthopedic Surgeon.
OrthoVirginia, the premier orthopedic/musculoskeletal practice in Virginia, has an opportunity for a fellowship trained, board-certified/board-eligible, full-time Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our practice. The selected candidate will be working out of our clinics in Lynchburg, VA.
Located in western part of Virginia, the practice is an established group with a 50+ year history of high-quality orthopedic patient care, with over 150 providers across Virginia. The Lynchburg Team includes 19 providers with orthopedic sub-specialists in Sports, Spine, Joints, Adult Reconstruction, as well as specialists in Non-operative Sports and Pain Intervention.
In addition to our outpatient facilities, OrthoVirginia manages the orthopedic wing of Lynchburg General Hospital via a joint venture with Centra. There is also an after-hours ambulatory urgent care clinic, 'Ortho On Call', which provides an alternative to ER visits.
OrthoVirginia's ancillary services include a robust rehabilitative therapy line of service, in house imaging/MRI capabilities, and a DME program.
In addition to the Lynchburg location, there are nearby locations in Blacksburg, Christiansburg, and Farmville, Virginia. Additionally, OrthoVirginia has clinical locations throughout the state of Virginia, with a strong presence in the Northern Virginia/DC area, the Richmond and Virginia Beach Metropolitan Areas.
The practice provides care throughout Western Virginia with an immediate drawing area of approximately 500,000+ . To better care for these communities, the practiceseeks a physician to continue to development of their strong hand & wrist service line.
