Your Assignment: Facility Security Officer (FSO) As the Facility Security Officer, you will be responsible for building a growing contractor security program and providing full-scope program support, training, and compliance for multiple office locations. You will be responsible for ensuring the company's adherence to policies, practices, and procedures of the 32 CFR Part 117 'NISPOM Rule' for implementing the policies, practices, and procedures contained within. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing the information and physical security aspects of the job, along with having knowledge about building a CUI program and general computer knowledge. What will you do? Candidates must have prior FSO experience and understand all U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security requirements to conduct the following: Administer the industrial security program and administer security programs including personnel processing, program reviews, document control system, audits & self-inspections, violation investigations & reports, visitor certifications and logs, etc. Develop and execute security programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies. Conduct initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings, and refresher briefings, as needed. Develop and conduct training programs related to annual trainings, security awareness, CUI safeguarding, self-reporting, and other security-related education programs. Support customer assessments and implement security measures to meet requirements. Oversee procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and granting personnel and visitors access to classified materials. Provide clear guidance to company employees and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures as appropriate. Initiating, reviewing, and processing Personnel Security Clearances and Periodic Reinvestigations. Reviewing employee background screening results and providing pass/fail determinations. Maintain facility clearance records and ensure compliance with DCSA requirements. Processes clearances and customer visits and provides support for classified meetings. Investigate incidents and security violations, conduct administrative inquiries (AI), and submit reports as required. Operational oversight of compliance with the requirements of the NISP. Conduct FOCI Audits and ensure compliance with FOCI mitigation documents. Provide support to Contracts, Proposal Teams, Operations, and Human Resources. Requirements Clearance Requirements: Applicants must have an active TS Clearance with the ability to receive SCI if required. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience as an AFSO or FSO. Must have FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Certification and other related security training. Knowledge of the government security and information assurance processes. Experience with protection requirements for handling and safeguarding Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Experience with JPAS, DISS, NCAIS, NISS, and NBIS. Experience in establishing SCIFs/TSCIFs. Thorough working knowledge of the NISPOM, other relevant DoD security guidance, DCSA guidance and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs). Experience conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate. Experience conducting security incident inquiries and writing investigation reports. Experience conducting security awareness, training, and education programs. Interact with Corporate HQ and program management on insider risk management activities. Resourceful in solving problems and capitalizing on opportunities. Able to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Experience working with Office 365, Adobe, and other office-related applications. Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing and implementing OPSEC plans. Knowledge of Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems. Technical Background in infrastructure management, software services, systems engineering, data management, cloud services, program management, and IT security.
