Content Marketing Manager-Mortgage

The Manager, Content Marketing role will be responsible for strategic content planning, writing and execution for our mortgage brands, Motto Mortgage and wemlo. This position will manage and guide our copywriting, social media and any other content creators to develop engaging content across various channels. You will use your expertise in understanding storytelling, strategic messaging, and audience motivations to direct the brand's content influence on business goals. Along with considerable daily writing and editing, there is particular emphasis on project and team coordination to ensure content is properly leveraged across platforms (web, mobile, media, social, etc.), and on data and research to measure and report on the effectiveness and reach of content whenever possible.
Essential Duties:
* Develop a deep understanding of the audiences for the mortgage brands including personas and what motivates those audiences.* Lead the content creation team, including social media and copywriting personnel.* Collaborate with marketing, sales, business leadership and vendors.* Write and edit marketing content of exceptional quality that will help drive brand awareness, lead generation, sales and resale of our value proposition.* Work with members of the marketing team to develop content strategy and plans to support the brand including brainstorming, reviewing, and holding team members accountable for results.* Responsible for the content activities across all channels, audiences, and departments including but not limited to websites, digital, SEO, email, social media, content curation, traditional/print advertising, and events in conjunction with channel owners.* Deliver regular reporting to leadership to inform on campaign results, research, adoption, and other metrics to help drive decision-making.* Create editorial guidelines for the voice and tone of content and ensuring consistency across mediums.* Perform regular research on the mortgage industry to create and recommend timely, topical, and relevant content.* Audit content regularly to determine what should be kept, edited, overhauled, or retired based on corporate strategy, analytics, performance, and age of the content.* Build out and management of our brand voice guidelines, personas, value-proposition, and other core content pieces that drive all messaging for the brands.
Job Qualifications:
* 5-7+ Years of marketing experience, preferably in content management and copywriting.* 2-4+ Years management experience.* Experience in the mortgage industry preferred.* Strong copywriting skills.* Strong SEO skills.* Knowledge of content distribution and measurement.* Experience as a people manager.* Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.* Attention to detail.* Professional and proactive work ethic.* Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.* Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.* Education Requirements: bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing and communications or advertising preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Manages marketing team personnel.* Oversees and provides ongoing performance feedback for marketing employees under direct supervision.
Physical Requirements:
* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.* Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Travel Requirements:
* Up to 10%
Hire Range/Rate:
$90,000 - $114,000
Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package. Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below. Other compensation for this position may include bonus eligibility.
