Role: Network Engineer.Location : Hybrid / Washington, DC (2 days onsite).

Your expertise will not only keep our network functioning at optimal levels, but you will also mentor and guide our Systems Engineer staff, contributing to a culture of growth and innovation.
Responsibilities:Ensure the efficient operation and stability of networked systems.Mentor and guide Systems Engineer staff within a collaborative team environment.Lead the evaluation and implementation of advanced firewall strategies and robust security measures.Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer, with strong troubleshooting skills in tier 2/3 networking.Advanced expertise in Cisco products, including switches, routers, and security devices, with relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP required, CCIE plus).Hands-on experience with IP, DHCP, VLAN configurations, and cloud networking technologies.Familiarity with network management systems, including Cisco DNA software and Cisco ISE.Experience with Infoblox software and VMware NSX-T is a plus.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, with DOJ Public Trust or eligibility for clearance.Proficiency in software-defined networks, with a focus on BGP protocol and Cisco EVPN in data centers.Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members to drive network optimization.
