www.cfadc.org .WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORWe are seeking an experienced, detail oriented, friendly team player who is excited to join our team. This position reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for the implementation and management of the Society’s marketing and communications.This position will be responsible for developing CFAW’s marketing and communications plan, including execution and distribution of our online newsletter, email campaigns to members, prospective members and industry partners, messaging across CFAW’s digital platforms, and the creation of marketing collateral.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the success of CFAW’s by working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and committee members. You will be the central contact for communication strategies to recruit and retain members through showcasing member value and promoting continued engagement.In this role you are afforded the opportunity to work closely with the CEO, gaining exposure to many aspects of the association industry. You must possess a collaborative spirit and thrive working within a small, close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to have ownership of many facets of marketing and communications with the chance to elevate and put their stamp on the process.SPECIFIC DUTIESMarketing and Communications
Develop, manage, and maintain a 6-month Communication Plan that outlines all scheduled communications to our members, non-members and industry audiences.Maintain a comprehensive marketing calendarManage the distribution of member acquisition and renewal campaignsProduce and distribute online weekly newsletter and bi-weekly event updatesDevelop and distribute dedicated email messages regarding projects and programs as appropriate and on a pre-established scheduleManage the design and creation of print and digital collateralUtilize social media as a regular platform for communicating with the CFAW membership and financial investment community at largePromote and engage members to increase use of CFAW social media platformsMaintain an effective, inviting, and visually appealing website designContinually monitor and edit the CFAW website, ensuring priority items are featured, older information is updated or removed, and all weblinks workEnsure accurateness and relevancy of all information on the websiteServe as primary contact for all member inquiries. Respond to member and prospective member inquiries through email, telephone, and webServe as staff liaison for the Member Engagement and External Relations committees
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Three (3) or more years of work experience in a membership organization a plusProven project management skillsStrong writer with excellent proofing skillsAdvanced knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and tacticsProficiency and experience with association management software – Salesforce preferredDesired tech stack: proficient in MS Office, CVENT, Constant Contact, Higher Logic, Zoom, Adobe/CanvaSelf-directed, works independently with minimal supervisionAbility to work well under pressure and think outside the box when neededAbility to lift 30 poundsA pro-active and can-do attitude, even when working under pressure and with all levels of staffSome local travel required, limited regional travel possibleWHAT WE OFFER:
