Job Description
The HR Generalist contributes to the accomplishment of the Talent Team's mission that focuses on a never-ending dedication to attracting, developing, and retaining a superior workforce. The Comoto HR Generalist provides a wide-range of human resources support to their designated business units and through company-wide initiatives. This position assists with and facilitates Human Resources processes and practices that provide a positive employee experience across the Comotosphere by operating with a high-level of trust, thoughtful guidance, and a strong sense of community.
As the HR Generalist, you will be located on-site in our North Las Vegas location. You will help to remotely support the larger Comoto Fulfillment Network, Comoto Shared Services and Rider Support. You will report directly to the HR Manager, who oversees these teams across the network.
Starting compensation for this role begins at $62,000 annually, not to exceed $72,000 annually. This is a full time, benefits-eligible position. Our Next HR Generalist Will Contribute To:
Employee EngagementServe as a point of contact on employment-related policy and program issues, providing counseling to employees and managers
Monitor employee relations-related actions, decisions, and communications to ensure managers understand and apply sound employee relations practices
Administer employee recognition programsCoordinate employee eventsServe as a member of Culture Riders (employee engagement committee) to support and coordinate employee-driven eventsIncludes managing the committee budget and setting meetings and agendasGeneral HR
Coordinate employee onboarding process, including completion of required paperwork and conducting new employee orientationRespond to requests for employment verificationAnswer routine employee questions regarding benefits, payroll and other HR matters.Ensure unemployment claims and garnishment claims are processedAssist with the execution of annual HR processesIdentify ways to innovate and improve upon our internal HR processesEnsure continued compliance with all federal, state, and local laws for all systems in placePayroll
Own all aspects of employee data in the HRIS system; ensure timely and accurate processing for payroll, benefits, and recording.Maintain, files and update employee records, in accordance with Department of Labor requirementsRun, post, and distribute monthly reports, including headcount, bonus accrual, birthday, and other ad hoc requestsBenefits
Learn full benefits package offered to team members to be able to answer routine questions regarding benefitsAssist in some aspects of employee benefit data; ensure timely and accurate processing of enrollments and updatesFacilitate Comoto's ongoing wellness initiatives and eventsAdminister the company's workers compensation programPartner with Safety Committee to ensure compliance with DOL standardsQualifications
