Marketing Manager - Capital City Bank - More Than Your Bank, Your Banker

Hours Mon-Fri

8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

General Summary

Leads an ambitious, creative, and data-focused team of Bank marketers in driving growth, enhancing brand strength, and managing marketing operations. Oversees strategy, planning, budget, execution, and refinement of paid, owned, digital and traditional marketing activities aligned to client needs and Company goals. Leverages creative excellence, core and third-party data, marketing technology, automation tools, and media partners/advertising agencies to deliver target marketing programs with a multi-channel approach. Measures success of marketing programs and builds plans to improve performance over time.

Reports to Chief Brand Officer and partners closely with Communications, Public Relations, Special Events, and Marketing Analytics department colleagues to refine and deliver the overall brand and integrated marketing strategy. This position has direct responsibility for employment decisions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Develops and implements data-driven marketing strategies to support business growth and customer engagement across multiple channels (digital, social, print, etc.).Campaign Management: Leads end-to-end marketing campaigns from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, regulatory requirements and business objectives.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with internal teams such as Retail, Lending, Wealth Management, Compliance, Product Management, Project Management, Star University, etc. to align marketing efforts with business priorities.Brand Management: Ensures brand consistency across all channels and marketing materials while enhancing the overall client experience and brand perception.Performance Measurement: Sets key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracks the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using analytics to report on Return on Investment (ROI), customer acquisition and retention metrics.Digital & Content Strategy: Oversees digital marketing strategies, including SEO, paid media, e-mail marketing, and some content marketing, ensuring maximum engagement and conversion rates.Marketing Operations: Manages agencies, vendors and associates relationships across marketing disciplines as well as contributes to internal department processes and procedures.Budget Management: Manages the marketing budget effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.Regulatory Compliance: Works closely with Compliance to ensure all marketing materials and campaigns adhere to industry regulations and legal requirements.Employer determines the essential functions of the job.

Associated Duties

Provide additional support to manager and department colleagues.Complete all assigned/required Bank training within established timelines.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Required

The following KSAs are typically acquired through specialized training and eight or more years’ related experience:

Deeply understands marketing and data-driven decision-making and has a proven track record of successful campaign execution.Passionate about stewarding brand promise, vision, purpose and core values.Excels with interpersonal, organizational, analytical, verbal presentation and written communication skills.Masters managing multiple initiatives simultaneously within tight deadlines, works well under pressure deadlines and is responsive and responsible in an environment where independent judgement is required.Proficient with marketing data and business analytics including the ability to analyze and evaluate information.Is a compelling storyteller and process management pro, able to flex from leveraging data and building processes to writing engaging content and delivering creative feedback with sharp attention to detail.Possesses extensive knowledge of Bank policies, procedures and marketing strategies within each market as well as the industry’s concepts, practices and procedures.Thrives with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.Has solid business acumen and/or demonstrated learning agility to quickly increase business knowledge.Exercises sound judgment.Must be able to manage multiple projects effectively and work with cross-functional teams to execute programs.Strong work ethic and high degree of personal integrity.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with marketing technology, automation tools, and core and third-party data platforms.Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in Communications, Marketing or Business from an accredited college required. Experience in Marketing field required and bank marketing preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement.Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, content marketing and SEO strategies.Excellent project management and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Analytical mindset with proficiency in using data and analytics to drive decision-making.Strong collaboration and communication skills with experience working cross-functionally.Familiarity with financial services regulations, including advertising compliance, is a plus.Working Conditions
