At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As a Resource Manager, a typical day will include the following duties:

This position is responsible for executing technical, analytical, and operational projects and tasks within the program management office (PMO) of a large contract. As part of the PMO, this position will work closely with the Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, project managers, and various software engineering, infrastructure, and technical operations teams to assess requirements, coordinate resources, and deliver projects for the customer. The ideal candidate will have initiative, attention to detail, ability to problem solve with little direction and/or guidance, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage program staffing processes to include creating requisitions, drafting labor category descriptions and building resumes for proposal efforts, and serving as a liaison between the recruiting and program management teamsDevelop metrics and reports to provide leadership with meaningful operational/performance data on program staffing, contracts, and business operationsCollect and analyze business process requirements to improve work performance across the programSchedule regular meetings with program managers to triage project requirementsReview future project requirements and develop strategies for future workWork with customers and PMO team to develop SharePoint projects and workflowsCollaborate with other functions to include Contracts, Subcontracts, Security, Human Resources and FinanceCollaborate regularly with a variety of customers and contractors, which may include meeting coordination and preparation/support of project plans, reports, and status (e.g., PMR) briefingsAssist with planning activities such as roadmap development and systems integration and provide recommendations to customer on task workloadEDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, certifications, training, and work/military experience.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated experience collecting and analyzing business process dataDemonstrated experience working in Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent understanding of general administration to maximize efficiency in using its tools and featuresStrong understanding of business processes and experience leveraging Microsoft Office Suite to maximize and improve those processesDemonstrated on-the-job experience effectively communicating across programs and with customers, stakeholders, and other contractorsAbility to effectively manage time and maintain a strong work ethic in a dynamic environmentDemonstrated ability to work effectively independently or with a teamExcellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills to work with team members to gather and understand business requirements and translate into optimal solutionsDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 5 years of customer-related experienceMinimum 5 years of related experience, including supervisory experienceExperience working in Microsoft SharePointAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience in creating and successfully implementing strategy for customer organizations
