JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.Responsible for safeguarding of currency, coins, tickets, tokens, forms and records relating to VLT Cashiering Operations.Responsible for custody of cage inventory to include main bank, reserve bank, employee window, front window and booth inventories.Responsible for direct supervision, scheduling and training of all cashiering functions.May assist with recruiting, training and recommendations for coaching/discipline of all Cage Operations team members.Assigns team members to appropriate locations, as necessary.Communicate (both written and verbal) with and promote positive team member and guest relations.Listens, evaluates, and responds to all guest complaints and inquiries and exercises good judgment in resolving same.Maintain professionalism at all times when working with other team members and/or guests.Promotes outstanding internal and external guest relations and internal teams.Performs all other duties as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have two (2) to three (3) years cashier experience.Must have one (1) year Supervisory experience.Must be able to successfully complete the background check and licensing process, required by the Delaware Lottery.Understand all internal controls for the department; knowing all gaming regulations and steps taken to ensure compliance.Must have knowledge of Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) requirements required.Knowledge of Microsoft Windows systems required.Act with discretion and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays.Ability to consistently comprehend, retain, and/or execute written, verbal and/or demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.Must possess strong leadership, interpersonal, customer relations and communications skills.Must be able to lift, pull, or push up to fifty (50) lbs. without difficulty.For a full list of our career opportunities, please visit www.DelawareParkCareers.com.
