POSITION: Director of Quality Assurance
LOCATION: Auburn Hills, MI
OBJECTIVE
Understanding and Demonstration of CCC's Mission Statement, Vision and Core Values.Commitment to CCC's People Based Safety Culture, and Requirements as detailed in CCC Corporate Safety Manual and leadership training.In-depth knowledge of various Standards related to quality.Oversight to ensure compliance with all CCC Standard Operating Procedures (ISO), as required for Quality, Environmental, Estimating, Purchasing, and Project Control.Provide strategic direction of how to adapt & integrate CCC standards with customer specific requirements on key projects.Position reports to VP Operations Support.Job Location: Corporate Office but it will require regular project site visits.Ability to travel to various project sites as needed.Compensation: Full-Time SalaryKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop, implement, and update project-specific quality control standards and plans in accordance with federal regulations, contract requirements, and company standards.Develop and implement corporate-wide quality assurance policies, procedures, and plans which ensure activities including testing, inspections, corrective actions, and record maintenance is conducted in accordance with the appropriate standard(s).Manage the quality control department and staff, providing support for the projects as needed.Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies.Develop KPIs for the Quality Department, while monitoring and reporting progress, including Self Perform Specific Information.Oversee the execution of the Integrated Management System and the supporting activities associated with the standards CCC subscribes to.Verify regular inspections conducted by QAQC Project Staff and project audits comply with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.Monitor corrective actions identifying trends and opportunities to improve processes.Support QAQC Staff and Project Team to address escalated quality issues in a timely manner collaborating closely with stakeholders.Identification and implementation of new policies and procedures necessary to maintain compliance with customers, standards, and regulatory agencies.Plan, lead and execute the Internal Audit Processes.Schedule and act as point of contact for External Audits.Management and oversight of lessons learned database with quarterly updates and reporting.Responsible for the quality & environmental risk management process as it pertains to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. Includes maintenance of the risk management database while providing reports to field .CORE COMPETENCIES
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction quality control Management, with 5 years of focus on federal projects a plus.Strong knowledge of federal quality control regulations, including USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) requirements.Familiarity with industry quality control standards and methodologies, such as ASTM, ACI, and AISC.Exceptional understanding of construction plans, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.Knowledge of ISO 9001 and14001, additional frameworks a plus.Strategic and forward-thinking individual with problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent leadership, communication and people skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse project teams.Strong computer software skills in (MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Project)WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Fast-paced working environment.Working environment may be busy and noisy.Managing several projects at one time.This position may occasionally require outdoor work, with exposure to various weather conditions.This role may occasionally require working in high, precarious places, near fumes or airborne particles; or handling toxic chemicals. There is also a risk of electrical shock and vibration in certain situations.Interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of team members, and outside vendors.Physical Requirements:
This position may require frequent travel by motor vehicle.The role may involve extended hours on construction sites, necessitating physical stamina to move around the premises.Effective and professional communication and interaction with supervisors, employees, and others, whether individually or in a team environment, are vital aspects of the role.Adherence to safety protocols and the ability to follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment guidelines, and company policies, are necessary for performing work safely and effectively.
