This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals and play a key role in our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of financial duties including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and ad-hoc reporting. You will be expected to adhere to US GAAP standards and utilize power bi for data analysis and reporting. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience and is perfect for a motivated individual who is ready to take their career to the next level.Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliation in compliance with US GAAP. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; assist with regulatory reporting as applicable. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Analyze financial reports for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO’s attention. Review and improve accounting and financial procedures and policies to enhance the workflow and functionality of the department. Conduct ad-hoc reporting and data analysis using power bi to support decision-making processes. Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set-up.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or related field. Strong understanding of US GAAP. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel. Experience with power bi or similar data analysis tools. Strong understanding of general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines. Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus. Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliation. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
