Rad Tech needed for 13 weeks in Richmond, VA with an asap start date.Radiology Tech Travel candidates only (Must be 50 miles outside of facility)Dysrhythmia exam NOT neededBLS, ARRT, and Virginia Radiology license requiredEducation Associate's from an ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) accredited institute (preferrred) Certifications Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) (required) State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed) BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care) (required) BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care) (required)Training EPICElectronic Health Record (EHR) (preferred)Picture archiving communiation system (PACS) (preferred)Experience 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred)Experience with Radiology Information System (preferred)Working Conditions Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur May be exposed to physical altercations and verbal abuse May be required to use physical restraints May be exposed to high noise levels and bright lights May be exposed to limited hazardous substances or body fluids May be exposed to human blood and other potentially infectious materials May have periods of constant interruptions General office environment Required to car travel to off-site locations, Prolonged periods of working alone
