RESPONSIBILITIES:The Occupational Therapist (a Culturally Specific Mental Health Provider, QMHP) works as a member of a multi-disciplinary Esperanza team that provides mental health programming to Latine, indigenous, and immigrant participants of Adelante Mujeres programs. This position works with and reports to the Occupational Therapy Manager of Esperanza.Creates curriculum, facilitates groups, and collaborates with various Adelante teams to provide social and mental wellness programming on a population-based level.Provides culturally specific mental health services for our clinic-based program: Assessment, treatment planning, individual and family therapy, in collaboration with participants.Prioritizes health, wellness, and recovery needs, writing measurable service objectives, creating, monitoring, and revising service plans.Creates suicide risk assessments and interventions, creating and monitoring safety plans, in collaboration with participants.Use culturally sensitive lenses to guide all aspects of service delivery, ensuring that the impact of socio-political & cultural factors is consistently considered.QUALIFICATIONS: We recognize that there are multiple expressions of professional readiness.
