Synergy Mental Health and Wellness Integrated (SMHWI) is a high-end mental health clinic with locations in Rockwall, Texas, and in Glendale, Scottsdale, and Tempe, Arizona. We provide face-to-face and telepsychiatry services at the clinics and to patients in multiple other organizations, rehabilitation centers, and detox facilities throughout Arizona. We are looking for an enthusiastic, high-energy, motivated Psychiatrist to join our team at our new location in Rockwall, Texas.This position will be responsible for providing supervision and guidance to Advanced Practice Providers (nurse practitioners and/or physician assistants with a collaborative physician agreement if required) for practice, as well as general clinical mentorship and guidance. Serve as a clinical escalation point for APPs and other medical staff within the practice.RequirementsDuties and Responsibilities:Provide psychiatric supervision and administrative direction to clinical and support staff, including advanced practice practitioners.Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations, to include intake assessments & follow-up assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing support for individuals with mental health conditions.Create, communicate, and carry out treatment plans with the patient.Complete full and appropriate documentation to support professional billing for services.Interpret test results to diagnosis any health issues and provide feedback to patients.Educate and counsel patients regarding medication compliance.Prescribe medications when clinically necessary.Communicate with patients regarding diagnosis and treatment plan.Communicate with, and make referrals to PCPs and/or specialists, as appropriate.Provide services at community partnership locations.Maintain required licensure, certifications, and CME credits.Other duties as assigned.Salary: DOEEducation and Experience:Must possess an active & unrestricted license to practice in the state(s) of practice.Must possess an unrestricted DEA license in the state(s) of practice.MD or DO degree (or international equivalent)Completion of an accredited psychiatry residencyBoard Certified or Board Eligible PsychiatristEligible for credentialing with all major insurance plans and to participate in Medicare.Excellent communication, patient relations, time management skills, and safety awareness are required.Computer literate and experience with Electronic Medical Records.Job Types: Full-time or Part-TimeBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceReferral programRetirement planVision insuranceMedical specialties:Primary CarePsychiatrySchedule:Monday to FridayNo weekendsLicense/Certification:BC/BE (Preferred)Medical License (Required)
