TravelShift: 12H Days 7a-7pRegion III: Primary to St. Michael Medical Center but if needed, travelers will be required to float throughout Region Three: St Anthony Hospital Gig Harbor, WA; St. Michael Medical Center Silverdale, WA.ER/Trauma Center# beds/trauma bays - 56 beds, hall beds will bring this number to 60-70sDo you have a Fast track yes 6 bedsDo you have a separate Triage area & do you allow/require travelers to do Triage Triage area is separate with 5 beds, travelers can take a triage test and may be assigned although generally department staff assignedDo you have a separate holding area in the ER or are ER holds intermixed w/in the ER We have 18 beds within the ED designated for holding inpatients awaiting bed placement, if additional is needed they areDo ER RN's manage their own ER holds Yes, although inpatient RNs often float to the ED to take an inpatient assignment for ER holdsDo you have separate Psych/seclusion rooms Yes we have a locked hall with 6 private treatment roomsIn-house SecurityYes# patients per day approximately 170-200Ratios - 1:3, if they are low acuity 1:4Required Certifications ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPCCommon diagnoses/Types of patientsCardiac, Stroke, Sepsis, DKA, AMS, Respiratory, Abdominal pain, Mental HealthExperience or 'Must have' skills: Will accept a traveler with 1 year of experience in a larger trauma settings.
