What we offer:
•Salary: $21.00 - $23.00
•PTO is offered for part-time employees.
Job Functions:
The Education Data Specialist will maintain and assess the data and outcomes for the Education team's grant-funded and other programming.
Essential Responsibilities:Maintain and review Adult Education, CREATE, and Parent-Child Plus files to ensure data compliance for all programming.Prepare and assist with all data integrity checks, funder site visits, and file audits.Assist with program registration to ensure participants correctly fill out all the necessary data components.Understand grant and program components and outcomes to ensure components are being executed and outcomes are attained.Conduct regular quality assurance checks on all files.Help with and learn all data management systems, including but not limited to Clarity, CATS, Monday.com, and DAISY.Participate in scheduled team meetings to help develop plans for outcome achievement, review data, and monitor progress.Keep confidential records according to the Ethical Boundaries for Those That Serve. Maintain professional boundaries.Demonstrate flexibility in the work schedule to meet client/program needs.Participate in Metropolitan Ministries holiday efforts, Bridge Builders, and other fundraising events when needed. Provide tours of the facilities and speak on behalf of Metropolitan Ministries as required.Support the team and supervisor in other tasks as assigned.Meet personal goals and actively contribute to achieving the team and organizational targets/goals.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
A minimum of an associate's degree in data analytics, management information systems, computer science, or business administration. A bachelor's degree in a related field is desirable. A minimum of two years of experience in quality assurance or a related field is required for associate's level candidates-direct experience working with data analytics and unrelated teams. Bi-lingual preferred.
Skills Requirements:
Must work effectively with teams unfamiliar with quality assurance, representing and communicating their status and progress to small groups and professionals within a network of funders, Metropolitan Ministries service providers, and applicable and related social service providers in the surrounding community. Must be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team framework; strong interpersonal and supervisory skills; strong oral and written communications skills; dependability; demonstrates maturity and sensitivity to cultural and individual differences in clients served; ability to handle job-related matters in a professional, diplomatic, and confidential manner; willing to work with minimal supervision yet be able to accept direction; well organized and detail-oriented. Computer literacy with Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel knowledge is required.
Requires a heart for ministry and comfort when working with poor and homeless families and individuals. Requires an understanding of poverty, a high degree of maturity, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with low socio-economic and diverse populations facing crisis situations in a professional and diplomatic manner. Knowledge of community resources available to the homeless population. Must demonstrate maturity and sensitivity to issues of faith, culture, and other sources of diversity. Ability to work as part of a team within a multi-disciplinary framework.
Physical Requirements:
Hearing and speaking ability allow for effective oral communication, and physical and emotional stamina allow for effective handling of job-related issues and stress.
Other:
Must pass applicable pre-employment screening and demonstrate legal authorization to work in the United States. Must be available to work during normal school hours and for evening meetings as required. Must pass required background pre-employment screening.
