Our team of professionals collaborates across disciplines to ensure the highest quality care for those facing complex psychiatric and psychological challenges.Position Summary:Psychiatreat is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Psychiatrist with expertise in managing complex cases, providing psychiatric emergency care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of suicide prevention strategies, co-occurring disorder treatments, and the management of personality disorders. This role will require conducting comprehensive mental status examinations and developing evidence-based treatment plans. Adherence to legal and ethical standards in psychiatry is paramount. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is also essential.Key Responsibilities:Manage complex psychiatric cases in an outpatient setting.Provide emergency psychiatric care and intervention.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.Develop and implement suicide prevention strategies.Conduct assessments and treatments for personality disorders and co-occurring conditions.Perform mental status examinations and comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.Create and execute evidence-based treatment plans.Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in psychiatric practice.Join us at Psychiatreat and make a difference in the lives of those who have served their communities and country. Your expertise will be a key part of our mission to provide exceptional mental health care to those who need it most.Required Skills & Qualifications:Medical degree (MD/DO) and board certification in psychiatry.Valid and unrestricted medical license.Proficiency in complex case management and emergency psychiatric care.Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration.Expertise in suicide prevention and personality disorder treatment.Ability to assess and treat co-occurring psychiatric conditions.Familiarity with evidence-based treatment planning.Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in psychiatry.Competency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with veterans, first responders, or trauma-affected populations.Previous work in outpatient or community mental health settings.Training in trauma-informed care or crisis intervention.BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, and Life CME: 5k annual allowance401K: Up to 4% of base
