Scheduling Specialist- ASL Fluency Required

Overview
The scheduling specialist will support the overall functions of the uSked scheduling software. The specialist will be responsible for data collection, data entry and data oversight of the uSked platform including confirmations, cancellations etc. The scheduling specialist will monitor all communication access requests in uSked for accuracy and completion. The specialist will also support the director and assistant director with other communication and scheduling tasks as assigned.

Minimum Education Required
High School Diploma/GED
Responsibilities
Available to work in both in-person and remote settings
Create and maintain uSked user accounts and assist users with troubleshooting
Monitor all communication access requests in uSked for accuracy and completion
Manage data using multiple platforms including OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Smartsheet
Communicate effectively in both English and American Sign Language (ASL)
Serve as point of contact for meeting logistics including participant lists, Zoom links, prep materials, facilitator/moderator information, room set up, and other duties as assigned
Perform administrative tasks for the Communication Access Team including meeting minutes, statistic reports, and other tasks as needed
Follow office procedures and become familiar and comfortable with office equipment and technologies
Adhere to all principles related to The Advocates Way
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED and 1-2 years administrative experience
Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and English; interpreter training and/or experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively in ASL and written English
Understanding of and competence in serving culturallydiverse populations strongly preferred
Proficient keyboarding skills
Proficient computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, as well as work independently
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Familiarity with the RID Code of Professional Conduct
Experience working in Human Services such as behavioral health, developmental and brain injury services, substance use recovery, and/or other related fields preferred
