QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer with over 9 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QA engineering concepts and proven experience in both automated and manual testing. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is essential. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough quality assurance testing, including integration, API, and end-to-end testing. Develop and execute automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Codecept. Perform manual regression testing to ensure software quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive testing strategies. Analyze and document test results, identifying defects and areas for improvement. Test Restful APIs using tools like RestAssured and Postman. Utilize SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle) for backend validation. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications 9+ years of hands-on experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Strong understanding of QA engineering, analysis, and testing concepts. 5+ years of experience with Java programming. Proficient in Object-Oriented Design and Development principles. 3+ years of experience testing Restful APIs using relevant tools. Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Codecept). Manual regression testing experience. Familiarity with SQL and relational databases, particularly Oracle. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge and experience in Cloud technologies, specifically Azure. Certifications Relevant QA or testing certifications are a plus. Education: Bachelors Degree
