The Camera Operator position is primarily responsible for operating and maintaining all studio cameras:pedestal, jib, and if trained, Steadicam.

Stadium is an interactive sports network enabling fans around the country to engage with professionally-produced content and a first-class talent team. Originating from Chicago's United Center - with a studio in the heart of the facility's atrium steps away from the famed Michael Jordan statue - Stadium operates the industry's original OTT-delivered sports network, creating video content for itself and its partners seeking to bridge the high quality of televised content with the immediacy and interactivity of digital media.

Key Job Responsibilities Include:

Ability to operate pedestal and jib studio cameras for live daily sports programming both in-studio and as needed, on locationDemonstrate a strong technical knowledge and application of camera related skills such as framing, movement, etc. to execute the content strategy for the creative visionWork in collaboration with producers and directors to execute overall programming strategyWillingness and physical ability to train to operate SteadicamAssist, as needed, with other areas of studio production: including microphone and IFB placement, counting talent in and out of breaks and SOTs, understand functionality of lighting board, ability to set and change lighting cuesWhen trained, temporarily fill in for one of the following positions: GFX Op, A1, A2, AD or TDAssist with the general upkeep and operation of associated equipmentAttend meetings as requested as part of daily programmingMaintain a professional approach and demeanor at all times; including while interacting with crew, talent and guestsHelp create a positive team-oriented atmosphere amongst the crewOther duties as assignedQualifications & Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience working in a live studio production in a fast-paced environment strongly preferredHigh School Diploma or GED requiredOverall understanding and knowledge of studio-based productions requiredAbility to think quickly and communicate well requiredAvailability to occasionally work nights, weekends, and holidays if needed is requiredAbility to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously requiredSome experience with studio lighting preferredExperience with INEWS or similar newsroom rundown system preferredKnowledge of professional and/or college sports is a plus
