Check us out at www.fireside.com.Manages and assumes full responsibility for all functions of the Regional Operations Teams. Including all Fireplace & Garage Door Branches. Promotes "Easy to Do Business With" concept. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Key Responsibilities: Manages the Operations Team by:Assigning responsibilities; delegating authority; recruiting, selecting, coaching, counseling and training members.Provides a safe, professional and "member-friendly" work environment where each member is treated with respect.Communicates essential business information to all direct reporting members.Process and approves bi-weekly payroll for all direct reporting members.Responsible for following and achieving ADWIADT (A Day's Work In a Day's Time)Collects and analyses ADWIADT data and initiates corrective action when necessary.Support financial objectives by preparing and operating within budget requirements; analyzing variances and initiating corrective action as required.Achieves Regional financial and strategic goals by managing member labor cost, capacity planning and overall administrative expenses. Responsible for ensuring optimized productivity by coordinating installation and service schedules.Responsible for accurate daily customer invoicing.Responsible, along with the Branch Managers, for reviewing the daily gross profit dollar report (GPD) for invoicing inaccuracies and ensures corrective action is implemented when necessaryWorks with Credit Manager to resolve open customer A/R issues caused by incomplete or unsatisfactory invoicing requirements.Works with Regional Sales Managers to review contract accuracy & compliance.Responsible for customer satisfaction through operational excellence.All other duties as assigned.Skills and Abilities Should possess excellent leadership and management skillsMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust have detailed knowledge of hearth products including limitations, installation requirements, FHH policies and local building codes.Provides field support to DFOS in the Pre-View & Post-View process and field support to the Service Technicians.Must have five or more years of operational field management experience in the hearth or construction industry.Must possess excellent computer skills and the ability to work on different systemsMust have excellent problem-solving skills and customer service skillsMust Have P&L ownership experienceMust have good presentation skills and have the ability to speak to different types of peopleShould have great organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and the ability to handleMust have the ability to build relationships with internal and external customersMust have the ability to interact effectively with a variety of people in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Education & ExperienceQualified candidates should have a 4-year degree in business or a related field and 3 to 5 years of experience leading and managing others or 5 to 7 years of experience in leading and managing people in an operations environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred QualificationsHearth industry or construction industry experience is preferred.
