This is a seasonal position working 13 weeks, full time in the Med Surg department at Oro Valley Hospital. The Medical-Surgical Unit at Oro Valley is comprised of a total of 30 beds. This unit serves a wide variety of patients with diverse needs. Patients we serve include those with acute and chronic illnesses who may require medical, surgical, and end-of-life care. Medical-Surgical Nursing is not only the foundation of nursing practice, it has also evolved into a healthcare specialty.
