Under direct supervision, level one painters will be trained and certified in an assortment of directly associated roles encompassing but not limited to product preparation and setup.These functions typically include paint mixing, equipment maintenance, sanding and filling operations, racking and turning parts, familiarity with process controls and documentation.Level one painters will receive classroom training and on the job experience relative to the paint department and specific to the conventional spray application of primers on a variety of aerospace product using conventional and HVLP equipment in pressure, gravity and siphon fed variants. 0-1 YOEKey Responsibilities:Prepare parts for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as necessary.Use color matching techniques to ensure accurate paint applications.Apply finishes and ensure quality and consistency.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards.Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and customer expectations.Qualifications:Experience as an automotive/aerospace painter.Knowledge of automotive/aerospace paint applications.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work with a team effectively.Strong communication and organizational skills.Reliable transportation./*generated inline style */ All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. /*generated inline style */ This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
