Technical Accounting, Manager

We are working with a great Publicly-traded Life Sciences company on a search for a Technical Accounting Manager to add to their growing team. This is a newly created role due to company growth. This Technical Accounting Manager will be involved in various areas of complex accounting, SEC reporting (10K's and 10Q's) including revenue recognition, business combinations, equity administration . The ideal candidate will have public accounting experience.

Responsibilities:

Lead technical accounting including revenue recognition, business combinations, equity administration, etc.Assist withquarterly and yearly SEC filings (10Q's and 10K's) including MD$A and footnotesCollaborate with various internal stakeholders and investorsParticipate in Month end close processPartner with outside AuditorsEnsure controls are in compliance with SOX-404Other ad hoc projects as needed with the Corporate Controller and VP

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA and public accounting experience highly preferred3 plus years of experienceStrong foundation of US GAAP, SEC, and SOXExcellent communication skills and attention to detail
