ServiceNow Project Manager (PM)

to support a fast-paced, dynamic customer environment with broad impact to the customer’s mission, located in San Diego, CA. This position is responsible for developing a ServiceNow-based operations management platform for the Navy’s Tactical Networks division. The ideal candidate must have strong ServiceNow experience and IT project management knowledge in addition to problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and anticipate requirements. JOB DUTIES:

Project Management

As the Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and implementation of a cutting-edge operations management platform that meet the needs of our client.

Oversee the web-platform development process and ensure timely and high-quality submission of project deliverable.

Work closely with a team of ServiceNow Developers, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, ServiceNow Architects, and Government Customers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and understand client needs, and develop innovative solutions to meet those needs.

Align team to program/customer vision and expectations.

Working with project leadership and development team to: Define tasks, milestones, and deliverables.

Determine resourcing needs and deconflict resource.

Determine task dependencies and schedule logic.

Determine and track the project’s critical path.

Report and brief schedule updates/status to SAIC leadership and Government Stakeholders.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, creativity, and open communication.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.

Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.

Act as a liaison between the development team and other departments, facilitating effective communication and coordination.

Builds and maintains working relationships with customers, team members, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Prepare and facilitate training workshops briefing users on platform capabilities and workflows.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

:

Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Master’s Degree eight (8) years related experience.

5 years of experience with the ServiceNow platform, specifically ITSM and Field Service Management modules.

5 years of experience as a personnel manager, Deputy PM, Technical Lead or Project Manager on contracts of a team of similar size, scope and complexity.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must have an active Secret Clearance.

Must have PMP Certification.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication – Oral and Written.

Proficient with Microsoft applications and programs (Project, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel).

DESIRED SKILLS:

Experience with DoD Tactical Networks and/or Navy processes.

Financial management and Financial Planning.

Operational or analytic production experience.

Knowledge of: Change management, Facilitation, Organizational Assessment, Process Modeling, Business Planning, Business Process Reengineering, Consensus Building, Design, and Implementation, Project Management Processes, Data Modeling, and Benchmarking/metric.

Demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up to support customer’s needs, clearly communicate (orally and written) ideas, take initiative to provide creative solutions to challenges and/or systemic problems.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
