Job Summary

We’re building the platforms to power the next generation of Entertainment and Connectivity services for Comcast and our industry partners.

We’re looking for an experienced architect to unify various individual capabilities, (web apps, APIs, tools) spread across multiple engineering teams, into a common tooling capability designed from the ground-up to support business to business use-cases.

As a member of the Comcast Technology Solutions MVPD team, you are instrumental in on-boarding partners into our syndicated family of products which we operate and manage as a service on a global scale. In this role you will be working with cutting edge video and connectivity technologies while interfacing with internal Comcast teams and global telecommunications providers.

Are you passionate about digital media, entertainment, connectivity, and cloud services? Do you like big challenges and working within a highly motivated team environment?

We take Comcast’s amazing products and services in Video, IPTV, smart home, broadband and access networks, and “syndicate” them for the operator community. Our partners own the customer relationship while we own and operate the product experience. We are looking for a customer experience oriented individual to join a team focused on ensuring operational excellence across our product portfolio. We thrive on big challenges, results, quality, and agility.

Who will you be working with?

You’ll be working across various engineering, architecture and operational teams within Comcast and Sky responsible for the architecture, development and delivery of products and services in the Entertainment and Connectivity spaces.

The ideal candidate for this role will thrive in an environment where they can drive outcomes through influence and technical leadership. What are some interesting things you will do?

This is a brand-new team within Comcast Technology Solutions. In this role you will have the opportunity to build a team from the ground up focused on building a world-class suite of tools to enable and support our latest products and services.

These are some of areas where we want to better enable management of our platforms and services:

On-boarding and management of new companies / customers

Platform monetization

Editorial placement / content capabilities,

Device and service configuration management

Support and troubleshooting workflows

While a number of these capabilities exist today, they are supported by individual teams. You’ll be responsible for defining our overall federated architecture for MVPD tools as well as the roadmap and approach for on-boarding internal and external teams.

Where can you make an impact?

You will be working with the best and brightest minds in Comcast to roll out services that will power the next generation of television, broadband, and home automation.
