As part of our ongoing expansion in North America, we seek a motivated Demand Planner to join our team.Position SummaryThe Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting OrganOx customer demand and developing demand plans leveraging various resources and data inputs to ensure inventory deliverables are met consistently and cost-effectively. Working under the supervision of the Director of Operations, North America, the Demand Planner is responsible for the monthly revenue and non-revenue demand plans and demand plan accuracy and plays a key role in the global Integrated Business Planning Process. Works in collaboration with the US Sales, Marketing, Field Service, Finance, Supply and Operations teams.This role reports to the Director of Operations, North America and is located in our US offices in Madison, New Jersey.RequirementsResponsibilitiesUnder direction from the Director of Operations, North America the Demand Planner will be responsible for: Developing demand plans for both revenue and non-revenue products across multiple time horizons Reviewing historical sales trends and collects data from internal and external sources on factors known to affect demand Managing the demand plan within the Integrated Business Planning (S&OP) process for US and North America Markets Owning the monthly demand plan review meeting with all business partners Closely interacting with sales, marketing, and operations to understand demand forecast drivers Setting goals, with Finance, to balance carrying costs with service level goals, such as minimizing excess stock and avoiding stockouts Assessing demand plan performance through monthly KPI reviews (forecast accuracy & error) Developing and manages inventory KPIs Working with supply chain team to optimize timing, order flow and inventory levels to maximize cash flow and inventory turnover Collaborating with the operational buying team to review replenishment purchase orders (net requirements plan) Obtaining information on occurrences that could impact demand like promotions and production delays Providing input to the supply planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product life cycle (phase outs) Coordinating cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances Using and maintaining the demand planning software engine Refining systems and methods to improve forecasts to better anticipate customer and business needs Adhering to the letter and spirit of OrganOx's Code of Conduct and all other company policies Skills and Experience Forecasting and Demand Planning experience ERP and demand planning engine/ software experience Experience working cross-functionally with sales, buyers and planners Excellent organizational skills and strong written and verbal communication (presentation) skills Inventory management experience Power BI skills preferred Excellent rapport-building abilities Advanced problem-solving capabilities Extremely analytical, with the ability to pull key insights from large amounts of data Keen business judgment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field 2-6 years of related work experience as a demand planner Experience using a demand engine ERP or software program Power BI skills and strong presentation experience Previous experience as a buyer is preferred Excellent database and Excel skills Knowledge of inventory metrics Experience in an FDA regulated environment is a plus Ability to travel <10% Ability to sit for long periods of time working on a computer A job description does not imply that the duties stated are the only ones to be performed by the job holder.
