Job Title:Sr. Electrical EngineerJob Description:Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue that mission.Entegris is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team responsible for particle analyzer and concentration monitor products in Chandler, AZ as part of the Scientific Instrument Business Unit within Entegris' Advanced Material Handling division. This segment develops technologies that support design and development of the most advanced semiconductor applications in the world. The Sr. Electrical Engineer will design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacture of electrical equipment, including PCB assemblies, sensor electrical components, test apparatus and will oversee the manufacture of these devices, systems, and equipment. This role is also critical in terms of managing external partners on mechanical and electrical engineering projects and supporting software engineering projects as related to integration with product design and function. What You'll Do:Serving as the electrical subject matter expert for designing, maintaining, implementing, and improving products, electrical instruments, components, or systems for industrial or commercial purposesLeading, coordinating and supporting projects, design reviews, prototyping efforts, documentation, manufacturing, compliance (including but not limited to RoHS, EMC, CE, safety) or testing activitiesWriting technical reports and compiling data as evidence to support qualification of product or change to product, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirementsConferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projectsPerforming a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipmentPreparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materialsSupervising or training project team membersEstimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparationExhibiting sounds judgement and decision making based on schedule and cost impactActs as mentor for junior engineers, interns, and co-op rolesWhat We Seek:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering degree from an accredited school, advanced degree preferredAt least 7+ years of applicable experience in field with progressing responsibilitiesExperience in using or a desire to learn required softwareExperience with Altium, Github and similar engineering tools and processesExperience with Product Lifecycle Management software tools, SAP or other ERP systemsAdvanced ability to learn new systems and implement the latest technologyExperience with optics based systems is a plusExpertise in electrical documentation (wiring schematics, code, etc.)Mechanical aptitude for system troubleshooting (recognize design issues vs software issues) - recommend design changes for overall system improvementsAdvanced in reviewing and interpreting mechanical and electrical system layoutsAbility to quickly prove concepts as fast as possible and prototypeProven ability to innovate and create uncommon solutions for technical challengesBeing a great teammate, learning from the depth of experience teammates provide and a desire to share ideas and experiencesMotivated and self-directed team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence personnel at all levels within the organizationLicensed as a professional engineer is a plusWhat We Offer:At Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
