Responsibilities
Manages security-related projects, including the implementation of security technologies as well as manage vendors to ensure managed services meet or exceed the enterprise's needs
Maintains efforts to identify, investigate, detect, respond, resolve, recover, and report cyber security incidents in accordance with SCE's incident response plan
Oversees and provides guidance to daily incident response activities and develops strategies to contain and eradicate the incidents
Articulates ongoing cybersecurity activities, priorities and risk measurements or mitigations at multiple organizational levels
Creates and articulates materials on how to embed and measure security in the software development lifecycle
Implements and enforces global information security policies and standards across the business lines
Maintains cybersecurity risk register that will be used to prioritize and communicate enterprise cybersecurity risk response and monitoring to management
Develops and maintains a document framework of continuously up-to-date information security policies, standards, and guidelines
Ensures alignment with product management and R&D project leaders to ensure security lifecycle planned within product development roadmaps
Manages security activities and requirements in the system development life cycle (SDLC) and application development efforts
A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
Five or more years combined experience performing or leading a cybersecurity, information security and/or information technology function.
US Citizenship Required.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Information System Manager (CISM).
3-5 years of Data Loss Prevention and/or Insider Risk program management
Experience in managing, supervising, or leading a diverse workforce, staff, or team.
Experience identifying, documenting, and assessing risks, controls, and cybersecurity requirements.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships and work well with others in both small group and cross-functional group environments.
Strong oral and written communication skills, and customer-focused to understand and appropriately respond to clients’ business needs.
Experience with SharePoint, MS Project, MS Visio, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to follow Edison safety protocols and safe work practices.
Demonstrated ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks appropriately, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
Effective decision making, results delivery, team building, and the ability to stay current with relevant technology and innovation.
Strong ethics, interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.
Additional Information
This position’s work mode is
hybrid.
The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.
Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.
Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
