We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Quality Manager to oversee our quality assurance and incoming control processes, ensuring that all products meet the highest industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Position Overview
The Quality Manager will be responsible for managing and enhancing the quality management system (QMS) across all phases of production, from material sourcing, incoming inspection to final inspection. This role requires a detailed understanding of aerospace industry standards (AS9100, ISO 9001), excellent leadership skills, and a focus on continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in leading quality teams in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
salary: $100,000 - $110,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7:30 AM - 4 PM
education: Bachelors
Responsibilities
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
Lead and manage the quality control team to ensure all products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards.
Develop and implement quality assurance processes and inspection protocols for all production phases, including incoming materials, in-process inspections, and final product audits.
Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to address quality issues and ensure continuous improvement of processes.
Lead internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
Train and mentor quality personnel, promoting a culture of quality awareness and accountability throughout the organization.
Interface with customers on quality-related issues and drive timely resolution of non-conformances and corrective actions.
