PCI Pharma Services is seeking a strategic and experienced

Director of Demand Planning

that will act as a Global Process Owner to standardize and optimize our demand planning processes globally. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in demand planning and forecasting, have extensive experience utilizing ERP as well as Advanced Planning Systems (APS), and possess exceptional leadership skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

Forecasting and Planning: Develop and maintain demand planning models, incorporating data from Business Development, Sales, Customer Forecasts, and Finance to create accurate and timely forecasts supporting Operations, Sales, and Financial Planning.

Process Integration: Ensure consistency of forecast processes across the business units, including base customer forecast trends, new launch volumes, and Sales opportunities. Reinforce manufacturing, sales, and financial processes to link/align with forecasting processes.

Team Leadership: Provide guidance and oversight to SKU-level forecasts, ensuring alignment with business direction and consistency with customer trends. Communicate demand forecast plans and assumptions through the supply chain.

Collaboration: Work closely with Supply Planning teams to identify and resolve changes in the forecast and their impact on the supply chain.

Strategic Alignment: Partner with Sales, Business Development, Operations, and Finance to develop an accurate demand forecast for all SKUs in the designated area of the business, ensuring alignment with business strategy and goals.

Collaborate with customers regarding supply chain digital options and capabilities i.e., use of AI/ML.

Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on customer forecast accuracy, bias, and orders inside lead time.

Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to demand planning and forecasting.

Act as Global Process Owner for demand planning & statistical forecasting set up, standardization, and harmonization of planning processes across Business Units, Sites, and ERP systems

Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 7-10 years related experience and/or training.

College Level Mathematical Skills

Advanced Computer Skills: Ability to perform the most complex computer tasks and operate various computer programs.

Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.

Very High Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in math or diagram form and deal with several abstract/concrete variables.

Ability to travel up to 10__ % - 25_ %

Preferred:

Certifications: APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) certification or similar is a plus

10-15 years of experience in demand planning roles, with at least 10 years in a managerial or leadership position

Proven track record of successfully leading demand planning in a manufacturing environment

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, trends, and performance metrics to drive decision-making and process improvements

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and advanced knowledge of demand planning software/tools

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
