Position Summary:The Account Manager will partner with and ensure the long-term success of our customers. He/she will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with his/her portfolio of assigned customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. The Account Manager will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.This role will interface directly with our internal teams and systems. You will be asked to solve problems, build reports, business cases, and track metrics and report on them to both internal and external customers. This position requires a motivated self-starter, driven by accomplishment and accountability with strong attention to detail and adaptable to changing requirements and priorities.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your customersBuild and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationshipsCoordinates with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, etc., on design, casting, and product requirements, and strategies for fulfilling those requirements for customers. Ensure the timeliness of deliverables according to internal and customer needs and objectivesCommunicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholdersForecast, track and report on key account metrics to internal and external customersIdentify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with LPC for growth attainmentAssist with and escalate high severity requests or issues as neededReview all Requests for Quotes (RFQ) and Purchase Orders (P.O.'s) for requirements, and potential profit opportunities; initiates RFQ's for cost estimate; reviews cost estimates and develops pricing strategyEnhances PCC's reputation as an ethical, responsive and technologically oriented companyRequired Skills:Strong understanding of aerospace products, services, and market dynamicsAbility to interpret and understand commercial, technical and program related data and information in customer specific formatAbility to interface with all levels of customer and PCC managementAbility to lead negotiation, marketing and technical expertise in a project or team settingExcellence in communication, organizational and interpersonal relationshipsAbility to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organizationExperience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needsProven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detailExcellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skillsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsFluent with the MS Office suite and other various software platforms including but not limited to ERP systemsDesired Experience & Education:Bachelor's degree in communications, business, finance, engineering, science, or related field of study6-10 years of account management or other relevant experience3-5 years of working with investment castings in the aerospace industryPersonal Attributes:Highly motivated with a results-driven attitudeStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAdaptable to changing priorities and client needs/generated inline style / All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. /generated inline style / This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
